15 Holiday Date Ideas:

1. Curl up in a cozy blanket by the fire and drink hot cocoa.

Warm and cozy? Check. Chocolate? Check. Snuggling up with your honey? Hell yes.

2. Go window shopping at a Christmas Market.

There’s nothing more magical than seeing the glitz and glamour of the season!

3. Ignite your competitive side by having a snowball fight at your local park.

Forget the gym – this is the best workout for your arms!

4. Drive through a neighborhood with amazing light displays.

This is one of my favorite childhood memories, and I loved sharing it with my S.O.

5. Bake some adorable Christmas cookies.

Get creative by adorning them with custom designs using icing and sprinkles.

6. Grap a Christmas-themed cup of joe.

Who said coffee couldn’t be sweet? Warm up with your honey with a piping hot cup of Christmas cheer. My recommendation is anything containing chocolate and peppermint.

7. Volunteer at a soup kitchen.

Volunteering your help to the less fortunate is wonderful, and why not share it with the person you love? By the shift’s end, you two will feel closer than ever.

8. Sing your favorite Christmas carols.

Who doesn’t love a little karaoke? Fa la la la la into their heart by singing your faves. Bonus points if you add some cringy dance moves to go along with the fun.

9. Watch a Christmas movie from Hallmark.

If you’ve heard of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas, then you know how many wholesome yet cringy movies this wonderful company produces yearly. The sappy writing, the over-used gazebo, the single kiss at the end of every movie. What’s not to love? Grab your sweetheart and prepare for a night of laughs and heart-warming stories.

10. Decorate each other’s houses for the holidays.

You know what they say. Two birds, one love.

11. Break out your snowshoes and go sledding.

You’ll smile from ear to ear, even through the next day’s soreness.

12. Go ice skating.

If you feel comfortable, feel free to show off some cool moves. Don’t forget to wear a cute outfit! Faux fur ear muffs and pastel skates, anyone?

13. Decorate the tree.

Whether it’s a Christmas tree or Hanukka bush, you’re in for a world of fun!

14. Take a free cooking class by following a YouTube tutorial.

Try your hand at baking some yummy comfort food, or take things up a notch with a fun, holiday-themed cocktail. The options are endless.

15. Make hot chocolate bombs.

Who didn’t love making hot chocolate bombs during the 2020 lockdown? They brought a spark of joy in a time that had so little. It’s one of my favorite memories, and I can’t wait to share that joy with my S.O. this year.

Extra date idea:

16. Ride a boat under the glittering lights at the River Walk in San Antonio, TX.

This one may be specific to my hometown, but I had to recommend it because it is one of Texas’s most iconic holiday activities. It will give you all the holiday feels – all for about $20!

I hope you enjoyed my holiday date ideas! This was such a fun post to write. I can’t wait to do all these with my S.O. this year (sans the snow because of Texas).
