L’OREAL Hair Extraordinary Oils Review!

Today, I’m reviewing a new and exciting haircare line called Extraordinary Oils by L’OREAL Paris! I received these products for free from Influenster and couldn’t wait to try them! I’m a HUGE fan of L’OREAL hair products and use their Total Repair Extreme shampoo and conditioner every time I wash my hair, so you can imagine my excitement to try their new line!

Although the name of the system is Extraordinary Oils, my hair didn’t feel weighed down or greasy, which was surprising, because my hair is naturally curly and can easily feel that way with these types of products. Another thing that I liked was the smell which was really nice and not too overpowering. The scent lasted a long time after my hair was dry. Also, when I used the shampoo, my hair felt softer even before putting the conditioner in! Normally, my hair can easily feel stripped of moisture before putting in conditioner, but this shampoo made it feel softer and more hydrated!

The conditioner is just what I need – thick, packed with moisture, and I don’t have to use a huge amount. The leave-in treatment was pretty good but not as good as some others that I’ve used. If I was going to straighten my hair, I think the leave-in treatment might have worked better to protect from the heat of a flat iron, but, without straightening my curly hair, it just wasn’t enough to control most of the frizz. In the end, I think that I would recommend it to a person with naturally straight hair or as a heat-protectant.

Since I’m already familiar with L’OREAL, I had a feeling that I would like these hair products, and I was right! Initially, I wanted to straighten my hair for this post, but I decided not to because I wanted to see how they would work with my naturally curly hair. I didn’t see a lot of frizz the next day, but, as I stated earlier, I wish that there was more of a dramatic change.

All in all, I’m very impressed with the L’OREAL Paris Extraordinary Oils Collection! I would definitely repurchase the shampoo and conditioner! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs an extra boost of moisture and shine in their hair!
