REVIEW: Favorite Makeup Products of 2015!

Hi, fashionistas!

Today, I’m reviewing my favorite makeup products of 2015! What better way to ring in the New Year than to review the products that I loved. Last year, I tried many amazing products and these are the best of the best! Let’s begin!

REVIEW: Favorite Makeup Products of 2015!

PRODUCTS:

I absolutely LOVE this mascara! I usually go for the expensive mascaras, but I watched a review of it on Youtube, and I just had to see the magic for myself! This mascara makes me look like I’m wearing false eyelashes!

  • Maybelline New York: “The Nudes” Eyeshadow Pallet

This pallet is amazing! I usually use bronze and brown eyeshadow in the first place, so this is a must-have for me. I had been searching for a dupe to the Urban Decay Naked Pallet for a while, and finally found it! Obviously, it doesn’t have all of the shades that the Naked pallet has, but it has my favorites! Score!

I really like this product, because it’s very easy to use and pigmented, which are two very important things to me. Unfortunately, I sometimes have trouble making a perfect cat-eye look, but, let’s face it, doesn’t everybody to some degree? That’s why this product is a must-have for any girl who has a tiny bit of trouble but still knows how to rock an edgy wing!

Ok, ok. I know that Chanel is crazy expensive, but this blush is fabulous and lasts really long! This is my go-to blush, because it’s perfect for my skin tone, is super girly and looks natural. Honestly, the price was worth it!

This lipstick is amazing! I can’t believe this color exists! During the fall and winter, I usually go for deeper reds, and this is the perfect color! It’s not too dark, but it’s not too light either. Although it has a hefty cost, I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth from wearing it to almost every fashion event!

This is the holy grail of eyeshadow primers! I’ve been using Urban Decay eyeshadow primers for years, and I love them! I usually use the original color, but I also sometimes use the shade “Sin” for my more elaborate evening looks (fashion week events, etc.). It’s a must-have in every girl’s beauty arsenal!

This setting powder is awesome! It makes my makeup last all day! Another thing that I love about this product is that it looks great in photos. It lives up to its name!

  • MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in “Lovelorn”

MAC is hands-down one of the best lipstick brands that I have ever tried! This is my everyday lipstick shade, because it’s the perfect pink that isn’t too light and isn’t too bright. Anything from MAC is amazing!

  • Maybelline New York “Great Lash” Clear Mascara

I actually use this product as a brow gel every day. This is my new favorite! I have used other brow gels at different price ranges in the past, but this $7 one reigns supreme!

This is another one of my favorite setting powders. I usually wear this one when I know that I’m going to be photographed with flash or will be in a space where people are being photographed, such as events like Fashion Week. I apply it on the areas of my face that usually create the most shine in flash photography (forehead, chin, nose, etc.).

Until my next post, fashionistas! I hope you liked my reviews and will consider checking out these products, because they’re awesome! As always, I love my lovely readers!

xx,

Lauren
