Hi, fashionistas!
Welcome to the final part of my RAW Artists Connect Showcase series: The Fashion! In this post, I’ll be discussing the fashion and makeup artistry that was at the event.
As I stepped into the Aztec Theater, not only did I witness some amazing works of art and heard some dance-worthy music, but I also saw some amazing style, both through exhibits and the attendees. The first exhibit that caught my eye were two beautiful women dressed as angels in the most avant-garde way. It was so interesting and unique, I knew I just had to talk to them!
I actually was able to take a picture with them along with my guest, Alex, shown here:

Details on my outfit:
- Boohoo dress
- Tory Burch cuff (similar)
- Diane von Furstenberg clutch (similar)
After taking a picture with these beautiful models, I came across a table from a local brand called SK Michael whose bags are definitely something to cherish. I was immediately captivated by one bag in particular, one that she handpainted herself! I knew I had to talk to the designer to find out more about her designs. Her name is Alice Moeller, and she explained that she handmakes all of her bags and accessories, even going as far as doing the leatherworking and sewing them herself. I don’t know if you have ever tried to sew leather, but let me tell you, it is not for the faint-hearted! Obviously, I was very impressed and followed all of her social media accounts when I got home, including her Instagram. I highly suggest you check it out to see her journey as a designer and watch her videos as she creates her designs!

Another lovely exhibit at the event was a makeup artist, Rebecca Rojas of Reds Body Art. I was completely in awe of how detailed her body art was and the outcome was totally amazing! She has so much talent and it definitely shows in her work. Here’s Rojas doing the models makeup and the outcome:

Towards the end of the night, the runway shows began and I was in heaven. As a fashion blogger, runway shows are my favorite thing in the world, and this event had several collections shown that were insanely creative! I’ve collected a few of my favorite designs, including some fabulous poses as the models strutted down the runway:
Until my next post, fashionistas! Thank you for reading Part 3 of my RAW Artists CONNECT series!
