MIXING Textures and Prints

Hi, fashionistas!

Textures and prints can be mixed, but there are some ways they work better together. My favorite texture is patent leather. It’s so classy. Here are some pictures of an outfit I created where I mixed prints and textures:

Now, let me show you how this outfit works together. The Sofft patent leather shoes are shiny and have a bit of gold on them. This Juicy Couture handbag is also black and has gold hardware. The color matches perfectly, the gold flows well, and the key fob on the purse has rhinestones, giving it mega shine. This American Eagle dress is the perfect color (off-white) to go with a lot of different things. It also has an amazing crochet texture and design. The cheetah-spotted, heart necklace from Betsey Johnson works well with my earrings and the hardware of the shoes and bag because it has gold detailing. Plus, it also has rhinestones like the key fob. Perfect! On their own, these pieces would probably never be worn together, but, when combined into one, the look is chic! Cool, right?

Until my next post, fashionistas! You guys keep me motivated everyday!

xx,

Lauren
